FAQs
Working Together
Where is your office located?
My office is in Denver’s City Park neighborhood, close to Congress Park, Cherry Creek, and Park Hill. I also offer secure virtual therapy sessions for clients across Colorado.
Do you offer in-person and online sessions?
Yes. I see clients both in person at my Denver office and online throughout Colorado. Many people choose a combination of both, depending on their schedule and comfort level.
Who do you work with?
I specialize in working with adults and older teens navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, and major life transitions. Many of my clients have been in therapy before and are ready to go deeper using EMDR, somatic, and parts-based (IFS) approaches.
About Therapy
What is EMDR therapy and how does it work?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach that helps your brain and body process distressing experiences so they no longer feel “stuck.” I offer EMDR therapy in Denver for trauma, anxiety, grief, and other issues rooted in past experiences.
What is somatic therapy?
Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between mind and body. We pay attention to sensations, breath, and movement to access the body’s natural capacity to regulate and heal. This work is gentle, body-based, and often paired with IFS and EMDR in my practice.
What is IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy?
IFS helps you understand the “parts” of yourself that hold pain, perfectionism, or protection. Through compassion and curiosity, we help these parts soften so your core self can lead with more calm and confidence.
How do I know if therapy with you is right for me?
I offer a one-hour consultation where we can explore what’s bringing you in, answer your questions, and see whether my approach feels like a good fit. It’s a chance to meet without pressure and decide together what next steps make sense.
Logistics & Local
Where can I park when I come to your office?
There is a marked parking spot behind my office at 1544 York Street, Denver CO 80206 as well as several nearby bus routes for easy access.
Do you offer therapy for people outside Denver?
Yes, I offer online therapy across Colorado, including Aurora, Lakewood, Parker, Cherry Hills, and Centennial. As long as you’re located in the state of Colorado, we can meet virtually.
What neighborhoods do you serve?
I work with clients from across the Denver metro area, including City Park, Congress Park, Cherry Creek, Park Hill, Capitol Hill, and surrounding communities.
Getting Started
How do I book a consultation?
You can visit the Book a Consultation page to schedule a phone session. It’s an opportunity to share your goals, ask questions, and see if my approach feels like the right fit.
What can I expect in our first session?
We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping to change. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very first meeting.
